Forgiven Outdoors
about us
Forgiven Outdoors began in 2025 during Jeep Invasion in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee.
My wife and I thought we were simply going to spend a fun weekend with fellow Jeep enthusiasts alongside our adult children and granddaughter. Little did we know, God had much bigger plans for us.
At the end of the weekend, we were invited to attend a Christian church service at the Hard Rock Cafe. During that service, my wife and I looked at each other with tears in our eyes, realizing we had found a group of people we were truly proud to be part of.
On the drive home, we talked nonstop about where we might fit into the Jeeping community through Christian ministry. Somewhere along that drive, I looked at my wife and said, “We need people to understand they don’t have to be perfect to be forgiven by God.”
She immediately replied, “That’s it!”
Then I said, “Forgiven Outdoors.”
Forgiven Outdoors is about enjoying everything God created for us in the great outdoors — whether by Jeep, ATV, truck, or simply gathering together in fellowship — while sharing His Word and encouraging one another in faith.
That’s why we adopted the verse 1 John 1:9 and the phrase:
“Not Perfect, Just Forgiven.”
God gave His very best to show us how much He loves us. We are not forgiven because we are perfect — we are forgiven because of Christ’s sacrifice on the cross.
